11/52: week 39- any day now.

the boys have earned nicknames as my 'right hand man' and 'my left hand man'.  no matter what we're doing- opie is always on my right side and waylon to my left and mini, you're front and center

ready

alright, mini- you're free to show up any time now.  projects are completed.  this little jammy will make do as a dream catcher/weaving/wall hanging.  anything i can whip up between now and the arrival will be an added bonus.

mini accomplishments

mini sweater- complete.

mini blanket- complete.  the quilt just isn't going to happen before mm gets here, but this will work just fine.  

i've been wanting to use this ikat indigo fabric i found at a flea market last year and then added this organic sherpa from purl soho.  i combined these two blanket projects from the purl bee in order to come up with my result- see here and here.

just need to start and finish some sort of dream catcher/wall hanging and my nesting will feel complete.

10/52: week 38- almost there.  we're getting ready for you mini, but i'm not sure everyone realizes what's about to hit them.

mini sweater

one/two/three

i need to get moving on the mini's sweater.  above is what i'm planning- california themed with fringe in neutrals for my mystery california baby.

i started the body of this sweater, i don't know how long ago.  it's a cream base cardigan- the body is already knitted so it's too late to try out an intarsia, but i'll add a duplicate stitch and/or embroidery and then some fringe.  hope it turns out as i envision it.

i can hardly wait to wear jeans again.  let alone a normal outfit that doesn't involve an elastic waistband.  a cocktail on an airplane might be nice too.
